On Becoming a Better Man, Human, and Father

8 Years Later.

8

This Mexican’s Independence Day

8 years later…. and I’m still here. Thank goodness because several little people were counting on me.

As my time to walk away was approaching in 2009, I decided to put on this very website the graphic below. I swear.

I then told my entire social network. Not facebook, but people I knew from work and friends. They would visit this very site and just see that there along with a countdown timer. Tick tocking to March 1, 2009.

Why would I do that you ask? Because I didn’t want to punk out. I want to feel the social peer pressure. I had to do it.

I did it. And here we are. You and I. Make sure to watch the video and watch me share a key insight from the last 8 years.

Looking back, I wonder how I did it. Seriously. One thing I had going for from the beginning is my stubbornness. Oh and of course I’m also good at learning and adjusting quickly. It’s an absolute critical skill in this business… or you die. Literally and figuratively.

One of the greatest feelings knowing I have been present for my daughters through their early years. But the other great feeling is knowing that I have helped numerous businesses grow and thrive. That’s super neat.

It’s the coolest feeling knowing I have been able to help others and contributed to society.

To your success,
Teevee
