In a world filled with distractions and hundreds of open tabs that you will “get to later”-
saying no allows you to stay laser-focused.
Easier said than done. Especially when you have to say no to people.
 

Make those dead presidents do the laps.

I didn’t know it then, but we were poor. My mom would be furious when I came back from
playing with the boys with grass stains & knee tears in my pants.
That’s all I had to play in and, well, I had to play.
 

Last year I met a lot of people
and made new friends.
I couldn’t help but wonder how I did it.
