In today’s episode of DO HARD SHIT EVERYDAY…

Someone gave me some solid advice:

“Before you put too much stress on your knees, get your cardio up to speed first.”

Cool. Trusted advisor, how do I do that?

“Go for a brisk walk.”

Brisk? That’s awfully vague.
What even is brisk?

“About 3 to 4 miles per hour.”

Great. And how the hell am I supposed to measure that?

“There’s an app for that.”

Of course there is.

I started off terribly.
But ended… strong-ish.
Out of breath.
Pouring sweat.
Still alive.

Final stats:
3.66 MPH average
Nearly a 15-minute mile
That seems hella impressive to me.

Good start. (I used to hate hearing that.)

Let’s get these lungs young AF.
