It means: to stop waiting for others to change.
As their father,
I’ve always tried to protect them and their beautiful minds from any and all harm.
Yet they still feel pain. They still feel sadness.
But to be human is to feel all range of emotions. Silly daddy.
You get just one life. One!
Why aren’t running like we’re on fire towards our craziest dreams?
The older I get,
the more this framework has saved me from hating myself later.
