On Fatherhood, Manhood & Becoming Better Ancestors.

I Must’ve Been the Most Annoying Kid.

I must’ve been the most annoying kid.

My poor parents had no idea what to do with me and all my wild ideas.

I was compulsive, obsessive, demanding.
(These days I call it passionate. That sounds better on a résumé.)

When something grabs my imagination… game over.

I don’t let go. Not until it’s real, even if it takes years to bend the world to my will.

I’m sure I alienated a few friends along the way, especially as a kid. I know I definitely lost some.

“Can’t you see it?” I’d shout, desperate for them to catch the vision.
Sorry, world. I just couldn’t help myself.
