This past weekend my bonus daughter asked me to officiate her wedding.
She and her fiancé invited me to dinner. I thought it was just dinner.

But now, I get to infuse the festivities with my quirkiness and playfulness. They’ve been warned.
To have my bonus daughter see and love these qualities in me is one of the most fulfilling things in my life.
To have her partner echo the sentiment and put on a full presentation to persuade me to say yes… that hit me hard.
They want me to be a part of this magical milestone.
I said yes, through the tears.
