We Have the Answers

W

In the past several years I have made efforts to improve all facets of my life.

I have listened to countless hours of audio. I have read all the self-help books I could get my hands on. I became a self-help maniac.

Needless to say, after a while it all runs together. It is all the same message with a different spin. Their spin. From Zig Ziglar to Tony Robbins to Wayne Dyer to Jim Rohn (insert your favorite writer/speaker)

And then I realized something so simple that you may even think it’s silly. All of this stuff I was reading is the same content and advice we get from our family and friends.

This knowledge goes back throughout our history. Our personal struggles are not unique. The times have changed and so have our surroundings, yet the truth remains that we are have the same challenges that men and women have had throughout history.

Socrates said the same things that Tony Robbins says. The Bible teaches the same lessons that some of these speakers and writers speak and write about.

We have all the answers already.

We just need to ask better questions and use our resources. Whether it may be the Bible, some self-help guru, or those that love us and want the best for us.
