Breaking the Habit I Thought Was Just “Part of the Job”

B

I wasn’t trying to be one of those people who quits social media and finds inner peace.

I just needed a breather.

One deleted app turned into a full-blown detox, and wow, I did not expect how good it would feel. More focus. Less anxiety. Real thoughts instead of algorithm-fed ones.

My brain stopped feeling like a browser with 47 tabs open.

And before you ask, yes. I run a digital marketing agency. Social is literally part of my job. But I found a way to do the work without letting the feeds hijack my mood.

If you’ve ever opened your phone and thought, “How did I end up here” this episode might give you something better to reach for.
