A lot of what I have written in this blog to this point has been on a deeper level. Lessons I have learned after a lot of trial and error.
Joseph,a great friend of mine, asked me once why I was so smart. To which I humbly replied,” I am not smart at all, I just have learned from my mistakes” To which he quickly and innocently enough replied, “ Wow, you must have made a lot of mistakes.”
To say I was confused as to how I felt about that would be an understatement. But I obviously ended laughing until it hurt. Joseph is a man I admire and am blessed to know and watch him grow. He recently became a police officer and invited me to his graduation. He has showered me with praise for influencing him and being a friend.

A few months ago a met someone with a dynamic personality that has become a fixture in my life since.
