WE ARE PROBLEM SOLVERS!

W

I have my girls repeat this when they’re stuck in the blame game and not actually finding solutions.

We find possible solutions. Get to the ROOT cause of the problem and offer options, possible scenarios to take, & weigh the pros and cons.

Are we looking at the problem objectively or subjectively? What can we do to take the emotion out and actually work towards an outcome both (or any parties involved) can be happy/content with? Does it really even matter? What factors in the equation can be tweaked? What can we control? Is there a short term solution? How about a long term solution?

Then stop talking and take action forward (and adjust & error correct). The world is full of talkers. We are action takers. We are problem solvers.
